- Carpet – a bad choice, but still possible with some pointers to consider during the installation.
- Engineered wood – works better the solid one as it holds up well against the moisture. This flooring consists of plywood base and real wood layer.
- Laminate flooring – has a photograph as the surface that stimulates wood’s look, for example slate, oak, cherry and marble. The use of seaming glue prevents the moisture to go downward.
- Sheet or tile vinyl – great option for DIY project where you can find various styles to choose from.
- Stone – offers the benefit of moisture resistance. There are limestone, granite, marble and others. However, the stone can be slippery and cold. Get the one textured by sandblasting or buy the naturally textured stone.
- Ceramic tile – best option among of the others. It has rich, textured and rich feeling. It does not cost too expensive too. The ceramic material is waterproof and quite beautiful.
